Well.. so much for the blog challenge. Although I've been a horrible person by not being consistent with a pretty basic blog challenge.. I'm not going to lie, the questions were starting to get annoyingly basic. When I write anything, I like it to have purpose. I want it to help people in some way whether that is by inspiring them, encouraging them, or sharing with them some sort of tip. I couldn't help but feel like the given topics were more about the superficial things I am into and well.. I'm not a superficial person.
It feels like so much has happened in the past month til now but the truth is I've just had a lot on my mind. The presidential election has finally ended and well... our President-elect is highlighting the divide in our country which we hid so well during Obama's term. I see people pointing the finger at Donald Trump for already filling our country with so much hate but the truth is oh-so-blaten: It's been here the whole entire time and now it is public. My intention with this post isn't to get into all of that though, especially since it's ALL we've seen in the media lately.
Last weekend I was given the incredible chance to attend a concert thanks to my sporadically generous sister. We went to go see Andy Mineo on his Uncomfortable tour (and it was amazing!).
| Selfie before the concert! My brother obviously wasn't feeling all that energized. |
It was a much needed time for me. I was able to be in a lively scene with a of people and enjoy some good music and a few laughs. Something I have been missing thanks to all of the days I spend staring at text books and notes.
Something I am extremely grateful for lately is my family. I have been able to enjoy so much more with them lately in terms of laughter and just enjoying each other - It's been nice.
